Stephanie is part of a collaborative team which is studying the evolution of felid (cat) functional morphology. The project, which is called '[Walking the cat back](http://www.goswamilab.com/#!walking-the-cat-back/c1a4)', is being led by UCL paleobiologist Dr. Anjali Goswami and is funded by The Leverhulme Trust.

This week, a new paper has been publish by the team: Randau, Goswami, Hutchinson, Cuff, Pierce. 2016. [Cryptic complexity in felid vertebral evolution: shape differentiation and allometry of the axial skeleton](http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/zoj.12403/abstract). Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society.
