The Pierce Lab welcomes new PhD student Phil Lai and 3rd year PhD student Zach Morris! Phil comes to us after finishing a Masters degree at Brown University on bat flight mechanics; he will be working with Stephanie and co-supervised by Andy Biewener. Zach has transferred from the Abzhanov lab (which has relocated to Imperial College, London); he is working on crocodylomorph skull development and evolution in collaboration with both the Pierce and Abzhanov labs.
