Cat evolution

Stephanie is part of a collaborative team which is studying the evolution of felid (cat) functional morphology. The project, which is called 'Walking the cat back', is being led by UCL paleobiologist Dr. Anjali Goswami and is funded by The Leverhulme Trust.

This week, a new paper has been publish by the team: Randau, Goswami, Hutchinson, Cuff, Pierce. 2016. Cryptic complexity in felid vertebral evolution: shape differentiation and allometry of the axial skeleton. Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society.
